1. Become a member of MRA by entry deadline.
2. Must not be or never been married or divorced.
3. Must not be pregnant or the mother of a child.
4. Must reside in Fresno, Tulare, Madera or Kings County.
5. Meet the age criteria

• Little Miss   5-8 years old
• Princess   9-13 years old
• Queen 14-18 years old
   

Age is determined by age on January 1st of contest year.

Rules and Regulations

1.  Ticket Sales are required.  To remain elegible the quota established for the appropriate division must be fulfilled.

• Queen:  400 Tickets
• Princess:  250 Tickets
• Little Miss:  150 Tickets

2.  Contestants will provide their own equine for the contest.  The same equine must be used during all judged phases of the contest.

3. Participation in mandatory events is required whether contestant or reigning royalty.

4. All contestants and winners of the contest are required to dress in western attire when representing the MRA in any capacity.  Reigning Royalty are required to wear their crowns, buckles and sashes.

5.  Contestants and winners are not permitted during the contest, or during their reign or as a representative of the MRA to drink alchoholic beverages, smoke, use illegal drugs or use foul language in public.
